Comments  Frothingham's ms. South Dartmouth, Mass., Epitaphs (given to NEHGS in 1958, SL/SOU/15, transcriber code FRO) has many pre-1910 inscriptions, overlapping but extending Lund's findings. Photo & Form E at MHC by Judith N. Lund (JNL) Jan. 1996 has wealth of historical information on this lot. Her transcription is in Burials and Burial Places in the Town of Dartmouth, Massachusetts, 1997, pp. 329-332. Almost 30,000 square feet. No wall but some individual plots have fencing. Partially maintained by representative of the Veterans' Agent. Active but few recent burials.
