   7.   Ebenezer (s. of Adams 2) m. Silvia, D. of Capt. Eliakim Howard 1782, and had Mehitabel 1782, Adams 1784, and then went westward.

   8.   Capt. Israel, b. at Scituate 1708 (s. of John of Hanover, who was son of John of Scituate) was cousin of Adams 2, and uncle of Col. John of Hanover of revolutionary memory.   He m. Keziah Perry 1730, and settled in E. B.; his will 1749, proved 1750; his w. and brother John of Hanover ex'ors.; he had Rhoda 1731*, Israel 1732, Keziah 1734, Hannah 1736, Abigail 1738, Rachel 1740, Ward 1742, Sarah 1744*, Elizabeth 1746*, (all b. at Scituate before he came to E. B.); his widow m. Joseph Keith 1763 and d. 1796, æ. 90.—Keziah m. John Richards 1751.   Hannah m. Solomon Packard 1760.—Abigail m. Capt. Jacob Allen 1762, and afterwards Isaac Lazell senr.—Rachel m. Benjamin Byram 1760.

   9.   Israel (s of Capt. Israel 8) m. Martha, wid. of Isaac Alden and D. of Solomon Packard senr. 1760, and d. 1773, æ. 41; he had Eliphalet 1760, Israel 1764, John 1766, and Timothy 1768.   Eliphalet m. Martha, D. of John Robinson, 1782, and had Ward, Eliphalet, Winslow Clift, Nahum, Ira, John, Melville, and several Ds., and removed to Plymouth where he d.—Israel m. Lucy, D. of William Whitman 1789.—Timothy m. Anna Washburn, D. of Amos Whitman, 1796.—Israel, John, and Timothy removed to Minot, Me.

   10.   Ward (s. of Capt. Israel 8) m. Polly, D. of Rev. Christopher Sergeant of Methuen, 1765, and had Christopher Sergeant 1767, Susanna 1768; he then removed to Vermont.

   11.   Winslow Clift Bailey (s. of Eliphalet; see Israel 9) and his w. Nancy had Lucy E. 1808, Hope S. 1810, Eliphalet, b. in Plymo. 1813, William E. 1815, Nancy 1819.
