Asa Keith 1774, and afterwards Eleazar Keith 1795.—Huldah m. Simeon Allen 1785.—Daniel m. Hannah D. of Seth Thayer 1773, but had no children.—Ephraim, the father, d. 1791, æ. 77; his wid d. 1803, æ. 85.

   16.   Ichabob [sic] (s. of Recompence 9) m. Hannah, D. of Joseph Gannett, 1741, and had Seth 1747, Ichabod 1749 Aaron 1751, Joshua 1753, Zenas 1755, Hannah 1758, Mary 1761, Daniel 1762, Ebenezer 1765.   This family went to Chesterfield, but returned, and most of them went into Bristol County.   Hannah m. a Coloph of Sharon, one of Burgoyne's army.

   17.   Col. Simeon (s. of Recompence 9) m. Mary D. of Daniel Howard, Esq., 1754, and had Molly 1755, Mehitabel 1757, Howard 1760, Martha 1765, Rhoda 1772.—Molly m. Simeon Keith 1775.—Mehitabel m. Bela Howard 1782, and afterwards Samuel Dyke 1793.—Martha m. Benjamin Keith 1788.—Rhoda m. Richard Wild 1794.—Col. Cary d. 1802, æ. 83.

   18.   Zebulun (s. of Recompence 9) m. Mehitabel, D. of Matthew Gannett, 1747; she d. 1748, and he then m. Lydia, D. of Thomas Phillips, 1749, and had Mehitabel 1751, Lydia 1753, Josiah 1754, Zebulun 1755, who d. young in Rochester; Recompence 1757, Mary 1758.—Mehitabel m. Joseph Allen 1771.   The rest of the family went to Brookfield and Ward, in Worcester County.

   19.   Dea. Jonathan (s. of Recompence 9) m. Mary, D. of Captain Moses Curtis of Stoughton, 1747, and had Moses 1748, Dorothy 1752, Jonathan 1757, Alpheus 1761, Sarah 1763, James 1766.—Dorothy not m.—Alpheus m. Ruby, D. of Jonathan Perkins, 1786, and lived and died in Quincy, leaving a son Alpheus in Boston who m. Deborah Thayer and had Alpheus 1827.—Sarah m. Daniel Alden 1786, and afterwards Lazarus A. Beal 1809.

   20.   Henry (s. of John 10) m. Martha, D. of Dr. Joseph Byram, 1749, and had Benjamin 1750*, killed under a water wheel; Eunice 1758, Benjamin 1761.   He died and she m. Abner Pratt 1764.—Eunice m. Wm. Snell of S. B. 1781.

   21.   Eleazar (s. of Jonathan 11) m. Betty, D. of Joshua Fobes, 1745, and had Caleb 1747; she d. 1749, and he m.
