B. and had Abigail 1729, Content 1733, Ann 1735, Mary 1738, Jonathan 1745.—He d. a. 1755, and she m. Capt. Daniel Reed of Abington 1765.—Abigail m. Josiah Vining 1751.   Ann m. Daniel Reed.—Mary m. Nathaniel Prior.—Jonathan m. Lydia Snell, 1772, and went into the revolutionary war and never returned.

   2.   Jonathan (brother of Samuel perhaps) and his wife Lois who joined the church 1741, had Margaret, Mary, Jabez.—Margaret m. Andrew Bearce of Halifax 1736.—Mary joined the church 1742.

   3.   Robert (s. of Samuel 1) m. Lydia, D. of John Harden of Abington 1742, and had Robert 1747, Nathan 1751; the father d. in 1755, and the wid. m. Isaac Tyrrell of Abington, 1755; she d. in E. B. 1798, æ. 76.

   4.   Samuel (s. of Samuel 1) m. Abigail, D. of Isaac Kingman 1755, and had Ebenezer 1755, Betty and Sarah 1758*, Samuel 1760, John 1763, Howland, 1766, Daniel 1768, Abby 1770, Mitchell 1772.—Ebenezer gra. H. U. 1785, and settled in the ministry at Scituate 1787; he m. Elizabeth, D. of Col. John Bailey of Hanover, and had William 1790, Ebenezer 1791, and d. the same year æ. 36.—All the rest of the family removed to Cummington.
