   Deacon James Packard died 1765, aged 75.

   1.   James m. a Thayer, they went to the westward.

   2.   Reuben m. a Perkins; they removed to Hebron, Maine.

ZACCHEUS PACKARD,

Lived where Cyrus Packard now lives; he m. an Alden, had two ss. Eleazer, and Simeon; and one d. Mercy, who m. Ezra Warren.   Zaccheus Packard died 1775, aged 82.

   1.   Eleazer m. a Richards, he went to the westward.

   2.   Simeon m, a Perkins; had six sons, Simeon, Isaiah, Zenas, Barnabas, Alden, and Benjamin; and five ds. Huldah, Mehitable, Mary, Olive, and Patty.   Huldah m. Howard Cary Esq.   Mary m. Noah Packard.   Olive m. David Ford.   Patty m. Capt. Nehemiah Lincoln.

   Simeon 2d died in the army, 1782, aged 20.

   Isaiah m. a Packard; had four ss. Hezekiah, Zibeon, Simeon, and Lucius; and one d. Betsey.

   Hezekiah m. a Gurney.   Zibeon m. a Bicknell.   Simeon 3d m. a Kingman.

   Zenas m. a Thayer; had five ss. Zenas, Hosea, Benjamin, Lorenzo, and Horatio; and five ds. Deborah, Charlotte, Rachel, Mary, and Lydia.   Deborah m. a Holmes.   Charlotte m. a Wild.   Zenas 2d m. a Horton.   Hosea m. a Holmes.

   Barnabas, Alden, and Benjamin, settled in the State of Maine.

ABIEL PACKARD,

Lived where Captain Nathaniel Wales now lives; he m. an Ames, was a Captain in the militia, had eight ss. Abiel, Josiah, Joshua, Thomas, Timothy, Daniel, Eliab, and Benjamin; and two ds. Sarah, and Betsey.   Sarah m. Deacon Ebenezer Snell.   Betsey m. Jacob Edson.   Captain Abiel Packard was the greatest land-holder in the North Parish; he owned a thousand acres of land in one body, aud [sic] settled seven of his sons on the same.

   Captain Abiel Packard died 1776, aged 76.

   1.   Abiel died in youth.
