Was brother to Thomas, above mentioned. He m. a Howard; had two ds. Mehitable and Anna. He afterwards m. a Capen; had one s. John; and two ds. Susanna, and Sally. Mehitable m. Isaac Curtis; Anna m. William French; Susanna m. Eliab Whitman, Esq.; Sally died in youth.

Was son of Seth A. Whitman, of East Bridgewater, the son of Nathan, the son of Thomas, the son of Nicholas, the son of Thomas Whitman, who came from Weymouth, and was one of the first settlers in Bridgewater.
Eliab Whitman graduated at Providence, in 1807; he m. a Wales; and is in the profession of law.
Was son of Elkanah, the son of Nathaniel Willis, one of the first settlers in Bridgewater. He m. a Ganza; had two ss. Ephraim and John; and two ds. Anna and Betsey.
Ephraim Willis died 1790, aged 76.
