Looking for information on the GORMAN Family, which moved to Brockton around 1900.

The first GORMANS in America were William and Hannah who came to the U.S. around 1870 and settled in West Bridgewater. I suspect William had brothers who were already living there. Three of their children, Mary, Edward, and John emigrated with them, the other five, Michael, William, Dennis, Thomas, and Julia were born in the U.S. William died in 1898; his widow Hannah (whose maiden name was GLEESON or GLEASON) remarried a man name John CONNORS in 1900.

Julia died of pneumonia in 1883. Michael, William and Thomas (and possibly others) all moved to Brockton where they may or may not still have descendants (Thomas definitely does). Michael was married to Mary Ellen ("Nellie"?) GOLDEN, William to Margaret Ella FOX, and Thomas to Mary MACNEIL.
