Duxbury Queries

A queries page is not a shortcut for research. It is intended to aid those who have already exhausted easily available sources of information and are looking for information from new, obscure or hard-to-find sources. If you submit a query the webmaster may reject it if he decides that you should first pursue other avenues of research.

This queries page is intended only for genealogical research. Please ask specific genealogical questions about specific individuals. General inquiries about families, or inquiries such as searches for living relatives, are not appropriate and will not be posted.

This page is reserved for queries about people who lived in Duxbury. If you do not know the Plymouth County town of residence for a person you should post your query on the Plymouth County Queries Page or in the Plymouth Colony Forums.

I've prepared a submission form for queries. Please submit a seperate query for each surname and feel free to post as many Duxbury queries as you wish.

Seeking help in finding info on Truman DAMON and Mercy (Mary) EAMES, 1800-1860s in Duxbury and Marshfield areas.

BRETT

It is my understanding that there was a BRETT store in Duxbury about the 1830's-40's. Is there any way to find out if the owner was Royal Tyler BRETT, Sr.? And if not, who the owner was? I may be a bit early on the date but wanted to give you some sort of time frame. I would also like to know exactly where the store was located.
