ON 4 July, 1909, the present writer, with the assistance of Mr. John W. Willard, made, and carefully verified, copies of all gravestone inscriptions dated prior to 1851, in the Island Pond Cemetery, at Harwich Centre, Mass.   These copies were presented to the Massachusetts Society of Mayflower Descendants, and all genealogical facts in the inscriptions will be found in the following abstracts.

CAHOON
Reuben Tripp, son of Seth and Cynthia, died 15 October, 1848, aged 1 year, 3 months, 5 days.

KINDRICKS
Hannah, died 13 October, 1849, in her 70th year.

MOODY
Samuel Monson, son of Samuel and Asenath; born 23 September, 1834; died 25 May, 1842.

ROGERS
Shubael, Jr., died 27 March, 1848, aged 26 years.   "Cease then dear wife to mourn"
