Apr. 7, 1673, and d. 18 Aug. 1713, æt. 40 yrs. He m. secondly (pub. Nov. 19, 1714), Susanna Stutson, of Boston. Thomas d. 5 Aug. 1727, æt. 64 yrs. "Tailor," and kn. as "Lieut.;" was one of "the committee appointed by the town in 1715-16 to go to Boston to answer our Cohasset neighbors." Resided on North St. In his will, of 8 July, 1727, provides for w. Susanna, and desires that "David, my youngest son, be educated as a Doctor." (S. P. R.; vol. xxv. p. 450.) [See also Corrections]

7. JEDIDIAH4 (Thomas3 Joseph2 Thomas1), b. in Hing. July 3, 1674, was grad. at Har. Coll. 1695. In 1696 and 1697 he was employed by the Selectmen of Hing. as a teacher in Latin, Arithmetic, etc. Subsequently he settled as a minister at Philadelphia, Pa. He had a s. Ephraim who was a physician at Baltimore, Md., and d. there ab. 1781.
8. THOMAS5 (Thomas4-3 Joseph2 Thomas1), b. in Hing. June 14, 1698. m. Jan. 10, 1722-23, Elizabeth Jacob, dau. of Peter and Hannah (Allen) Jacob. She was b. in Hing. Apr. 9, 1700, and d. 16 March, 1768, æt. 68th yr. He d. 5 Sept. 1784, æt. 86 yrs. "Farmer." Was Town Treasurer, also deacon of the Church of the First Parish, and a large land-owner. Resided on North St. near Thaxter's Bridge.
