HENRY MAURICE, and his w. Elizabeth (Chalwell), from Tortola, W. I., were for sev. yrs. residents of Hing. He was of English parentage, and a man of good education. On Feb. 22, 1800, he delivered an oration before the inhabitants of Hing. on the death of Washington, which was afts. published in pamphlet form. "Attorney at law." Resided on North St., near Thaxter's Bridge.
