LISLE.

   HENRY MAURICE, and his w. Elizabeth (Chalwell), from Tortola, W. I., were for sev. yrs. residents of Hing.   He was of English parentage, and a man of good education.   On Feb. 22, 1800, he delivered an oration before the inhabitants of Hing. on the death of Washington, which was afts. published in pamphlet form.   "Attorney at law."   Resided on North St., near Thaxter's Bridge.

   NICHOLS, from Scit. m. Ann Cushing, dau. of Joseph and Desire (Barker) Cushing of Scit., was for sev. yrs. a resident of Hing., and by occupation "shipwright."   He removed from here to Ea. Boston, and thence to Holliston, Mass., where he d.

   ii.   ALLYNE CUSHING, July 15, 1835.   (See "Hingham in the Civil War.")   In 1871 was consul-general at Calcutta.

   DAVIS, bro. of the preceding, and a native of Scit., m. first, in Hing. Dec. 14, 1834, Susan Waters, dau. of John and Susan (Stodder) Waters.   She was b. in Hing. May 1, 1817, and d. 18 Nov. 1838, æt. 22d yr.   He m. secondly, Eliza Mitchell of Mf'd.   "Shipwright."   Removed to Ea. Boston.

   1.   SAMUEL, a native of Scit., was for many yrs. a resident of Hing., and d. here 28 Dec. 1873, æt. 82 yrs. and 7 mos.   His w. was Roxanna Shattuck.   Their
