MARTIN.

   ABRAHAM, from whom the familiar localities in Hing. kn. as "Martin's Lane," and "Martin's Well," prob. took their names, had land on Town St., near the sea, granted him in Hing. 1635.   In 1643 he removed to Rehoboth; was a freeman 1657.   In his will, proved 9 Sept. 1669, he bequeaths to Rev. Peter Hobart of Hing., £1 10s.   "Weaver."   Widow Martin d. March, 1665. — Hobart's Diary.
