   ABNER, who resides on Main St., So. Hing., was b. at Boston, May 12, 1843.   He m. at Fryeburg, Me., Jan. 1, 1867, Avilda Rachel Goldthwait.   She was b. at Brownfield, Me., Jan. 3, 1845.   Their

TIDMARSH.

   WILLIAM, m. in Hing. Nov. 19, 1781, Mary Thaxter, dau. of Joseph and Mary (Leavitt) Thaxter.   She was b. in Hing. Oct. 6, 1756, and d. a wid. 1 Sept. 1834, æt. 78th yr.   "In 1778, William was captain's clerk on board the armed brig 'Hazard,' then commanded by John Foster Williams."
   Ch., —

   i.   MARY THAXTER, b. at Fitchburg, 1782, d. in Hing., unm., 13 Nov. 1863, æt. 81 yrs.
   ii.   HANNAH, 1784, d. in Hing. 22 March, 1796, æt. 12 yrs.

TILDEN.

   ATHERTON, b. at Mf'd, 1801.   m. Oct. 26, 1828, Priscilla Little of Mf'd.   She was b. ab. 1806.   "Hatter."   Resided on Main St., near the old meeting-house.   This dwelling was destroyed by fire, Jan. 17, 1867, and shortly after Atherton and his fam. removed from here.   He d. at Dedham, 18 Aug. 1887, æt. 86 yrs.
