Jesse was by occupation "mariner." Constable 1769. Late in life he removed to Chesterfield, Mass., where he d. 8 Aug. 1815, æt. 85 yrs.

ELIJAH D., for many yrs. a resident of Hing. m. first, Catherine Davis. She d. 6 July, 1808, æt. 26 yrs. He m. secondly, in Hing., Nov. 21, 1810, Lucy Beal, dau. of John and Rhoda (James) Beal. She was b. in Hing. Oct. 25, 1781, and d. 17 Feb. 1816, æt. 34 yrs. His third w., whom he survived, was Temperance James of Scit. She d. in Hing. 29 July, 1846, æt. 61 yrs. Elijah D. d. 13 July, 1854, æt. 85 yrs. He was by occupation "baker," and senior partner of the firm of Wilde and Davis, and afts. of Wilde, Davis, and Burr. Resided on North St., West Hing.
