Pembroke Queries
A queries page is not a shortcut for research. It is intended to aid those who have already exhausted easily available sources of information and are looking for information from new, obscure or hard-to-find sources. If you submit a query the webmaster may reject it if he decides that you should first pursue other avenues of research.
This queries page is intended only for genealogical research. Please ask specific genealogical questions about specific individuals. General inquiries about families, or inquiries such as searches for living relatives, are not appropriate and will not be posted.
This page is reserved for queries about people who lived in Pembroke. If you do not know the Plymouth County town of residence for a person you should post your query on the Plymouth County Queries Page or in the Plymouth Colony Forums.
I've prepared a submission form for queries. Please submit a seperate query for each surname and feel free to post as many Pembroke queries as you wish.
PLEASE NOTE that email addresses on this page other than my own are displayed as graphics, not as links. I understand that this is inconvenient for some visitors, especially those who are visually impaired. I believe that it is necessary in order to reduce spam and protect the privacy of those posting queries. If you have any difficulty reading an email graphic you can click on it to view a magnified version. If you prefer you can send me email with the name of the person who placed the query and I will send you their email address.

I am looking for Thomas and Maud(e) BATES, whose children are Thomas and Mildred. They lived in Pembroke in 1910 and 1920. I am looking for Maud(e)'s grave site. She was living in Maine in 1930, but her son Thomas moved back to MA sometime between 1930 and 1932.
BILL

Looking for information on Julia O. (Olivet?) BILL and her family. She was b. 1856 and was sister to my great grandfather Leonard Eugene BILL. She had a tie-in to the Bryantville part of Pembroke, was alive in 1927 and may have married twice. At least one last name I saw for her was YOUNG. They were the children of James Leonard BILL and Juliette/Julyet/Julia CHAPMAN. The BILLs have tie-ins to North Stonington, CT.
PERRY

Researching Joseph PERRYs in the Scituate-Hanover-Pembroke area.
Joseph PERRY m. Mercy LEACH 31-May-1714 (Scituate VRs).
Joseph PARRY of Hanover m. Rebeckah JOSELIN of Hanover, 24-Apr-1728 (Pembroke VRs) (She d. same year).
Joseph PERRY m. Mary CHANDLER 17-Oct-1729 (Bridgewater VRs).
Also - Plymouth Court Records indicate that a James PERRY, "Late of Scituate...Now Resident in Pembroke," brought suit on behalf of a Joseph PERRY, who was a minor between 1716-1726. Who was this Joseph PERRY? Are the first three Joseph PERRYs the same man?
