Robert TORRANCE and Betsy KENDER. Seeking information on this couple (married 24 Sep 1816) and their children and parents. My ancestor is their son, Robert TORRANCE, who came to MO at unknown date. Interested in Erastus, Nathan, and Elizabeth, all siblings of Robert. Descendants of Nathan lived in Plymouth up to recent years.

In 1914, George F and Mary MORGAN emigrated from Nova Scotia to Massachusetts (possibly directly to Plymouth), along with their sons, William MORGAN (b ca 1903) and George Wilfred MORGAN (b 1905 - d 1972). George F, Mary and George W are listed in the 1930 (I couldn't find them in the 1920) Plymouth census. George later married Amelia Souza Cavacco and had at least LeRoy MORGAN (b 1934 - d 2003). When and where were George W and Amelia married. What were the names of Amelia's parents? Did George W and Amelia have other children? What happened to William MORGAN? Any and all information would be appreciated.

Looking for any information on my great grandparents, Antone and Maria BENT and there descendants. They came to Plymouth from the Azores approximately 1903. They had five children Joseph, Frank, Antonio, Mary, and Lousia. Pursuant to the 1930 census, they lived on Nix Rock road, Plymouth. Maria lived to be over 100 years old. I think she passed away in the late 1950's. Antone passed away between 1920 and 1930. Thank you very much. Any information you can provide would be deeply appreciated.

RYDER, Mary, born abt 20 Sep 1870, uncertain of place, but father, Martin Herbert RYDER in Plymouth on 1870 - census before Mary born. Seek confirmation baptismal or birth place - possibly Plymouth or Duxbury since Martin's wife's name was Hannah Cushing BURDITT and was from Duxbury, where Mary might have been born. I have just become aware that I had a brother Christopher KNUDSEN who must have been born in 1935 or 1936 and only lived a few months. His parents were Carl Knudsen (my father ) who was the pastor of the Church of the Pilgrimage there from approximately 1935 to 1950 and my mother Sylvia Blanchard Knudsen. Adoniram JUDSON bought land and built in Plymouth around 1802. Where can I find a map of Plymouth, circa 1802-1812, showing street names, etc. so I can plot out the extent of his several land purchases. I know he built a house on Pleasant Street and that he bought more land in 1804 and 1808. Am trying to verify for a book. Thank you.

Henry FINNEY was born in Plymouth in 1807, the son of Elkanah FINNEY (1777-1837) and Lucy MORTON (1782-1866). He had one son, Henry Allerton FINNEY, born Mar 15, 1855, Plymouth, Ma. Some info I've seen shows Henry was married 5 times and I don't know which wife bore Henry Allerton FINNEY in 1855. Maybe you could help. His wives names were Betsey LANGFORD, Adeline HOWLAND, Lucy MANTER, Eliza BENSON, and Abby (CLARK) THOMAS. Thank you.

I am looking for the name of the father of Arthur CHURCHILL b. about 1862. Records show the name to be Wilson CHURCHILL, but the 1790 census doesn't show Arthur as one of the sons of 2nd Wilson. There is a 3rd Wilson, son of 2nd Wilson. That's the connection I am looking for.

I am from Plymouth, North Carolina (Washington County/Tyrrell County) which is said to be established by a man named Arthur RHOADES in a1787. He was also said to be from Plymouth, Mass - thus the naming of our town. This man was living in the same county at the same time and has the same last name as the last ancestor of mine that I have found (Levin or Leven RHOADES). "The CHURCHILL Family in America" indicates that his father, greatgrandfather and grgrgrandfather were all named Barnabas CHURCHILL and all born in Plymouth, 25 Nov 1747, 19 Oct 1714, and 1685/86, respectively. I am seeking anyone else who is researching this line. Also, I need a way to prove that the youngest Barnabas CHURCHILL was the son and grandson of the other two Barnabas CHURCHILLs.
