GRAVESTONE RECORDS IN THE OLD CEMETERY
AT PLYMPTON, MASS.

IN May, 1906, the writer, with the assistance of Messrs. Stanley W. Smith, Edward H. Whorf and William J. Ham, copied and verified all the inscriptions dated prior to 1851, with a few of later date, on the gravestones in the old cemetery at Plympton, Mass. The copies have been presented to the Massachusetts Society of Mayflower Descendants, and every genealogical fact contained in them will be found in the following abstracts.
ALDEN
Lydia, wife of Darius; daughter of Francis and Lydia Holmes; died 29 August, 1808, aged 25 years, 5 months, 23 days. [On stone with Newland Holmes.]
ATWOOD
Isaac, died 26 February, 1717/18, in his 23d year.
BABBITT
Harriet Newell, daughter of Thomas and Nancy W., of Athol, Mass., died 28 November, 1835, aged 2 years, 4 months, 17 days.
BARROWS
Jonathan, son of Jonathan and Lydia, died 25 August, 1801, in his 25th year.
BARTLETT
Joseph, son of Sylvanus and Sarah, died 21 July, 1803, in his 19th year.
